# Memory and skills

> What Balt remembers about your company and about you, and what he knows how to do.

Balt writes down what he learns about your company and about you, and reads it again before every conversation. Everything is kept on his **Desktop**, in the console.

## What Balt remembers

Only you can read and correct what Balt knows about you. Your administrators and colleagues can't.

## Correct what he remembered

Open the **Memory** folder on the Desktop and correct a sentence: Balt adapts from the next conversation. You can also tell him in a conversation: "Remember that our quotes always go out as PDF."

## Bring what other assistants know about you

ChatGPT, Claude and similar tools have learned how you work. Ask them the question offered at sign-up, then paste their answer: Balt starts from there.

## Skills

A skill describes how your company does a task, such as writing a quote. Balt writes them as he learns, and your team can add its own. Find them in the Desktop's **Skills** folder.
