A space is an application Balt builds for you: a form, a dashboard, a small website. Find them under Spaces, in the console.

Create a space

Ask Balt in a conversation: “Build a form for our clients to report a claim.” The space then shows up under Spaces.

A space’s page

Open launches the application, Copy link copies its address. The page has four tabs: Each space has two environments, Production and Preview, whose access is set separately.

Who can open it

A public space in production needs a link to a Privacy notice. Under Active sessions, Sign everyone out ends every session. Only the creator and administrators change access.

Settings

  • General: the name and the description.
  • Link image and Icon: what shows when the address is shared.
  • Indexing: whether Search engines may index it.
  • Domains: serve the space on your own domain.

Delete a space

Delete space, in its settings, then type its name to confirm. Only its creator can, and deleting is permanent.
