One tool can be connected for one person or for the whole organization. You choose when connecting, in Who should have access?, and can change it later in the account’s Access tab.
If you’re a member, pick Private when connecting: only an administrator can connect a Public account.

Calendars and mailboxes

A calendar or a mailbox belongs to one person. These tools show Yours only and always connect as private. Everyone connects their own.

When you have both

You can have a private account and an organization account for the same tool. Balt uses yours first, then a private account you were invited to, then the organization’s.

What your colleagues see

  • Balt never mentions one person’s private accounts to anyone else.
  • The result of a request arrives in the conversation where it was made.
  • The Notes Balt keeps on a tool are shared with the organization, whichever account taught him.
  • An administrator doesn’t see colleagues’ private accounts, unless invited to them.

In routines

A routine runs with the accounts of the person it belongs to: their private accounts, the ones they’re invited to and the organization’s. A routine deployed to the organization runs for each person with their own accounts. If a required integration is missing, the routine waits for the person to connect it. An organization account is enough for a given tool. For Any calendar or Any mailbox, everyone has to connect their own. See Deploy to organization. When someone leaves the organization, their private accounts are deleted. Organization accounts stay.
